Why did you choose Daemen?
I choose to attend 快猫成版视频 because I love the sense of community that a smaller school has. I was drawn to Daemen because of the smaller class sizes and the connection that it brings, there is something special about a professor knowing your name and having meaningful conversations with them and class mates.
In what ways are you involved on campus?
I am an academic coach for CMP-101 and I also co-lead a women's Bible study.
What advice would you give to a prospective student?
Be open minded, the college experience is what you make of it. Everyone's journey is unique and shaped by their own attitude and involvement. Now is the time to discover the person you truly want to be, never be afraid to put yourself out there and take a chance.
What excites you most about being a tour guide?
For me the official tour is what sold me on Daemen, I was pretty set on Daemen as my first choice and the tour solidified that decision. The tour guide was so bright, welcoming and excited to meet us, you could really tell they cared about Daemen and it's amazing community. That is why I choose to be a tour guide, I love welcoming people into the Daemen community from the moment they step on campus, so that they feel confident about heir decision to become a Wildcat.
What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?
My most memorable moment at Daemen was when I was sitting in my very first nursing lecture, and I took a moment to reflect on how far I had come. In that moment, I realized I was taking the first step into achieving my lifelong dream of working in health care. In four years, I will really be a nurse providing care to my patients.
How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?
Daemen has given me my best friends. I have been able to better myself and my community because of the amazing people I am surrounded by here at Daemen. I am forever grateful for the way that each of my friends has shaped my life in their own unique way.
Who inspires you the most?
My parents inspire me the most they are the most hard working people I know. They have always been there to support me and encourage me trough every step of my life. They have shown me that a successful life is not given it is earned trough hard work and dedication to your dreams.
